Volunteers from the Northern Mill Engine Society have rescued and restored 25 old stationary steam engines - some of the engines which once drove the cotton mills of Lancashire. Many will be running in steam on these dates from 10.00am to 4.00pm and admission is free!

We have just rescued another very old and unusual engine from the scrapman. After lying in a field in Yorkshire for over 30 years, we are now restoring it to working order.
